Woohoo~ I finally found ONE girl whose time table is exactly the same as mine. I'm so happy. Well, it's so obvious that I don't have new friends there cause I missed the orientation, so most of the time, I hang out with Arif and Ron. Unfortunately, they can't always accompany me in between breaks, because we are in different courses...Arif & Ron are Med Students! I'm? Med BioSc Student. OK~ I guess we are in the same field? ;p

Anyway, this girl is from Indonesia! well, she's a indo-chinese. Her name is Augustini. I find it easier to remember Augustini than Tini~

I had lecture at 8am today! So, I woke up at 6:45am, which is kinda early =.= Monash is just ten minutes away =p Oh, and I learnt Excel during computer lab today. Haha! (Arif's reaction: Don't you already know how to use it?) Well yeah, but honestly I just found out there's so many things you can do on Excel! haha!

Morning classes ended at 11am, went to the library and read a BIOLOGY book!! o.O The front chapters made me sleepy [flip] Cancer cells and mutation gave me the goooosebumps T.T [flip] Reproduction! hahaha! Never bores me *Ooops* =x hahaha! Well, Biology is kinda interesting :D

Went for Money & Capital Markets lecture with Tini, which we left 5 minutes after the lecture started. Cause... the lecturer announced:

This unit is for seasoned students who have taken at least 1 accounting unit or 1 econs units. This unit is not meant for freshmens and freshwomens. So if you have not taken accounting or econs, I suggest you don't take this unit because you were struggle. This is a very hard unit, I know it because I teach it, and I teach tough units..."

So out the auditorium we went. xD and it was 1:15pm! So Tini and I decided to change our elective. We practically walked back and forth from Building 2 to 6 to 7 to 6 to 7 back to 2! Omg~ So in the end, we managed to slot ourselves into ECW1101 Introduction to Microeconomics.

After printing out my lecture note at the Open Lab, I met up with Arif. I don't know why, but we sat outside the admission building for a while, crapped a bit. hahaha! After that, we went to Sunway UniCollege, I wanted to look for Ms. Annie (whose actual name was not Annie but Aun Nee) It took us quite a while to look for the LAN Department =.= SHE WAS NOT THERE!

Anyway watch Ron rehearsal for his musical thingy and left cause I was too sleepy! kaka~ Oh wells, got to go now. Ciao~

You're the worst.

Omg...I wasted 6 hours doing nothing today! :'( Shouldn't have come home so early! I feel so...bad~

My timetable is finally done! Unfortunately, my busiest days are Thursday and Friday (wth~) and super empty on Monday xD Well, that fits just right for me, since I am busy on Saturday and Sunday. Monday = Amanda's "Rest" Day :)

I realised today that I have... SIX students in Music Makers :D One piano student & Five violin students. LOL Well, I took over Pam's students cause she had to concentrate on her SPM this year. Practically spent the WHOLE day at Music Makers today [9am-6pm]. I don't know, but I just love being there~

Oh wells, uni officially starts tomorrow! unfortunately, I haven't even allocate my time table. hahaha~ omg.

I guess I won't be blogging that often anymore! Well, by right, I wouldn't have the time to do so! If I ever did, it means I'm not studying very hard~ which is WRONG! So yeah, unlike normal students who have 5 days of lectures/tutorials/labs in uni and 2 rest days aka weekends! Amanda here, the word 'weekend' merely exist in her dictionary. Why...

cause...she will be in the university from Monday to Friday, followed up by a whole load of music classes on Saturdays and part-time work at Music Makers on Sundays! Woohoo~ there goes my 7 days in a week. I need a 8th day :x

oh dears, the offer letter is ready! I'm going to collect it tomorrow...I guess there's nothing much to think about now, nothing much I can think about actually.

Finally had a father-daughter session with my dearest dad. I respect him very much~ but I've been doing things that disappoint him...I feel sorry. I hope whatever comes next will not be another heartbreaker for him...

I guess that a degree cert is very important to me, especially as a stepping stone to start a living in the future...I love music very much, but that music degree is not going to take me anywhere in Malaysia. Futhermore, it isn't the degree cert that makes a successful musician.

The best choice is to study, get a degree now...when my brain can still absorb bio & chem ;p while I continue doing music during the weekends~ I will freaking busy soon! Look on the bright side, it's not a bad decision. Moreover, I get to date now! hahaha! STUDY DATES!!! =D

ok...I think it's crazy to post thrice in a day. Oh well, I guess it's okay cause it has passed midnight now ;p oops, by right it's my sleeping time now. I'm kinda sleepy anyway! =x before that...

I can't believe it! I'm seriously, so d*mn indecisive!!! this shows that I have NOT gave up on my I-want-to-go-to-Berklee dream! and it's like if I have the chance, I would definately go...Question is whether MONEY is really what's holding me back? That's partly it~ The other part would be my confidence I suppose.

I have yet made any new decisions at the moment, am waiting for Pearly to come back to Malaysia from the States! for another session of "counselling" hahaha, I'm such a troublesome *ss, ain't I??

Anyway...

latest status: reconsidering~ think once! think twice! think as long as I want cause I still have time! what I should really do now is:
-concentrate on practicing!
-focus on the March 12 audition!

...I'll never know if I never try; I'll regret if I never tried my best; there shouldn't be room for regrets. For now, I'm going to bed cause it's way passed midnight!

It's been like so long since I last...drove my car for one whole day, and I meant the whole day ;p and it was honestly tiring!!!

I drove myself to French class (which is at Lorong Gurney!) in the morning. Freakin' sick of the stuuupid morning jam. I might have to quit French class soon by the way! Anyway, flew straight to Sunway after french class at 1pm! Reached there before 1:30pm!!! ;D Hm, yeah, I was speeding on the highways~ all the way from...Istana Budaya area to NPE to Sunway. *in this case, ignore the traffic lights and slight traffic jams* Gah~

Met up with Ron, Arif and Hanson at Sunway for lunch. Guess what we had!!! Ron, Hanson and I had ROTI GORENG xD while Arif ate CHICKEN RICE!!! in the cafeteria...hahaha! I guess it was just our sudden cravings. We stopped going to the cafeteria for lunch even during A2, cause it was always Pan Mee day! haha. *memories*

Before I left at 3plus, we saw Mr. Alagarajah! who is now so tensed and stressed with his overdue assignments! hahaha! cause he's taking PhD now! and he told us that he hasn't even finished his assignment which was due last week! LOL...then we sat down and listened to Mr. Kingsley talk about some musical thingy to promote A-Levels in Sunway~

Had practice with Swathi at 3:30pm, apparently I was so late. Oh wells~

Hm...I just realised that I've been so darn worried about Biology and Chemistry ever since I handed in the application form! but...HEY!...what if my application got rejected xD hahaha~ I didn't think of that! ;P we'll see~

conclusion is...

...we (maybe not for everyone) cannot escape the fact that it's quite important to get a proper 'academic' degree, but then again, define 'proper' =P

I think I definately need to stop being so indecisive...cause all I'll end up doing is throwing my dad's hard-earned money into the ocean by the thousands, which is d*mn wrong T.T

Being as spontaneous as can be, as sudden as it takes to give everyone a big shock, I decided to go back to studying again. It's going to sound really crazy, because I have chosen Medical Bioscience. Yes... it's Medical Bioscience!!! Yes...Biology + Chemistry once again! which I shall admit that I'm so dead.

Wonder why I chose that course, considering the fact that I'm not a very outspoken, outstanding person and that I am selective, I don't mix well with people...etc plus interest matters, I will "die" if I were to take some Arts course. Anyway, I'm pretty aware of what course I chose, and am expecting the worst that can happen to me and that I am definately going to struggle studying Bio and Chem! after dropping Bio and screwing up Chem during A-levels.

Think positive!!! I will do well and at the end of the day, I have the best of both worlds! Science and Music~

It has been a great day out with some important friends in my life whom I cherish a lot :) well, knowing the fact that they are the only group of friends that I have-and-want to hang out with! :P It was another ASS gathering with the intention celebrating Fido's birthday *belated celebration*

These are the leftovers stuck in Malaysia: Fido, Izzat, Arif, Ron, Jon, Betty, Amanda, Aifang, Siow, Nana. Everyone turned up today, except for Aifang who is still in Malacca and Siow (I just realized we forgot about him! oops) Izzat couldnt make it to MV~ Jon oh holy one had church!

We were supposed to meet at 10AM. Unfortunately, as expected, Fido overslept! Thank God I told Ron to call him around 9:40am (he texted instead). He just woke up! Ok, he was supposed to fetch me this morning, but I had Hanson come instead.

Reached Midvalley around 11 and found out that Vincent was there since 10am. He is super punctual, unlike...us! =P While waitin' for Fido & Betty, we bought tickets for Jumper, which I had no idea at first what the show was all about. Lalala~

Anyway, we had lunch at Chilis. and movie at 2:30pm. Jumper was ok, the main cast was cute ^^ Fido was like "do you see some similiarity?" hinting that he looked like the jumper. Haha, which I have to agree that he really does look A BIT like him. Anyway...

Hanson ditched us after movie cause his friends were going over to his house, which I was told later that he regretted ditching us. Wakaka~ Arif, Ron, Vincent, Betty, Jon, Izzat! came over to my house, for dinner. Left the house at 8pm and went up the spooky hill road with no street lamps, which freaked us out. hahaha! It was lame yet fun :D

Drove Arif & Ron to Sunway, a place I'd never been to ages ago. After sending Ron to the car, Arif took me to the spot that only himself, Jo & Fido knew, to see the night scene across Sunway. It was breathtaking! hahaha! Although it was only SUNWAY =P after that, he took me to the train track =.= and we walked along the track like it was so dangerous and dark, but there was this one spot for us to see the beautiful night view of Sunway again!!! I so want to go there again!

Yesh, as you can see, Fido is so d*mn lucky to be a Valentine baby. So, it's Valentine's Day today. Hm, doesn't mean anything to me this year haha! cause I'm single? I guess you can really save a lot when you don't have celebrate Valentine's! :P

Woke up at 10:30am today xD Had to go Music Makers at 12noon! Oh dear, what a pig I am~ Michael taught me BLUES, which is the very very very important basics of Jazz! Had flute lesson at 3, and practice with Swathi at 4, which we didn't really practice cause I finished flute class late and we didn't have the front studio.

Anyway, went to Ara Damansara to meet up with Uncle Nick for dinner ^^ Glad to see him again! He's going back to Shanghai this Saturday which is like "So Fast?" So I saw my baby cousin Xiang Yu who is 1+ this year~ Omg, he is so cheeky and cute and adorable and lovable! :D Loooovvveee him lots! haha!

Uncle Nick was quite concerned about my 'future' haha! He suggested that I apply to Singapore & China too, just-hentam-only ~ ahaha! China, I've never thought of going there before. :p Ok, shall not talk about this now, I need to focus! FOCUS!!!

For people who are wonderin' how is my practice?
Honestly, I haven't been practicing MUCH for the past one week. It was Chinese New Year! But! I did spend some time on the piano & my flute tho~ =P better than nothing. So, intensive practice starts again tomorrow! :D

Well-awared that my Berklee World Scholarship audition & interview is in exactly ONE month's time, I shall sadly admit that I'm so demm dead =.= SOS!!!

Oh! and...

Roland's Piano Festival 2008 is in 18 days!! Hurray, I'm already so demm dead, now I'm certified! T.O.D not available, haha! =P Arranged practice with Swathy at 3:30pm tomorrow :)

anyway, cny was kinda fun this year, for one & only one reason that is I spent it with my family and my extended family. Ignoring the fact that the ang pau part wasn't very satisfying this year, why? cause I didn't visit anyone! However, money is not the most important part *so not true* :P what's important is the family gatherin' right? yea!

my aunts, uncles & cousins came to my house for reunion dinner on wednesday night, there were 20 people! 4 families. as what chinese would usual do, they started gambling. The good thing about my family is that they only gambling during cny. Daddy doesn't gamble if he had the choice!

so, on new year's eve...

my cousin brothers played mahjong with my brother. while. mum played jimrami with two of my aunties and kim, my elder cousin sister. dad played mahjong with my 2nd uncle & youngest aunt, which accordin' to my aunt, she has never played with her brothers before. (this was after my uncle & my aunt lost "few tens" to my elder cousin brothers! playing Big 2)

i, learnt to play jimrami that night, and had the beginner's luck ^^v anyway, everyone left after midnight and did not say good bye but instead SEE YOU SOON. cause all of them were coming back on new year's day.

on new year's day, (thursday)

my family and I went to my grandfather's house in the morning before my uncles + aunts came to our house. nothing much happened, we started gambling on mahjong & jimrami again. wth~ hahaha! I still had the luck ^^ woohoo for dragons! another late night =P

second day of cny, (friday)

ALL my aunts ditched my grandmother and went to OU Neway for karaoke with the younger ones! haha! so yeah, went to OU at 3pm and sang til 6pm. went home and started played jimrami again! but everyone left at 9:30pm. the end~

yesterday! feb 11~

dear kind hanson came to fetch me to pyramid :) we watched KUNGFU DUNK with Jon & Vincent while waiting for Arif to come from Bangi~ went to lyn's house for Boardgame night where we ended up playing Big2 & Taboo! Haha! I'm pretty sure they're not board games. Met my long lost primary school classmate, who happened to be lyn's friend! What a small small world. Had a great time there, coming back with a headache =.=

I love Arif's game! Downfall. :D

We left after 11 cause hm, everyone has class the next morning. Fido sent me home, and I had Arif accompany me at the back seat while Izzat nagging on Fido. haha! "you see fido you dont even look left or right before you turn" etc. hahaha! They REALLY look & sound like Husband & Wife. Oops~ =P and it was the first time I had the seat belts on! at the BACKseat! haha! Cause hm...Fido speeded, but it was nothing~ 110 only! Accordin' to him, his latest record was 2xx. =.= but of cuz not in his wira =P haha!

anyway, before going back to my house, Fido went up the "spooky" road again! Izzat went "Fido stop flashing" haha! cause it was super scary and we nearly scared ourselves for nothing when Fido turned on the lights again. Ok, that's all I think~

I can stop it from coming.

Pfft* It's such an odd hour to update my blog, when I'm supposed to be...practicing piano? practicing flute? practicing violin? after having FUN the whole of yesterday!

I woke up at 9am yesterday, with a determined mind set that I have to transcribe my jazz tune! and so I did :) but it was left unfinished because I had to get ready for my music classes. Only then I realised that I weren't going to have piano class yesterday (since my teacher taught me on Tuesday) **imagine the oh-i-see blur expression on my face** Well, flute lesson was still on anyway! BUT...!

Mum came knockin' at my door step and basically informed me about a last minute lunch with my godmother who is also my grandaunt from my mom's side of the family. So I postponed my flute class til later the evening after Reena replied my msg with this - "Ok, no prob, just pop in when you're done." So, there I went, with my mum, to my godma's house...

There I saw, Aunt Adeline & Aunt Lena from the Fonseka Family. Since my parents and I bummed into both of them in Midvalley last week, there was no oh-i-havent-seen-you-for-ages feelin' when I saw them. Anyhow, it still felt good seein' them. Ooh there's more! The Wong Family from Ipoh: Aunt Yun & Uncle Jiang, Granduncle&aunt no.9 or was it no.8? no, I think it's no.9 *oops* I seriously have not seen them for ages! and I had to say that I thought I saw my grandfather when my granduncle came in, they looked very alike (duh! they're brothers) haha.

After moments of hello-how-are-you-what-have-you-been-up-to, we had lunch at Overseas Restaurant. Omy! It was a full CNY set, and I would say dinner set! for lunch. The food was nice though =P The thing when you eat with all the "elderly" xD is their conversations can bore you out terribly. Luckily, I was entertained by the actions of my young cousin I barely know, Lucas Fonseka Koon age 2, amazed by how well he can speak! with the British slang, since my aunt stays in London.

Lunch ended at 3:30pm, mum went home to get some stuff for Aunt Molly and she was supposed to send me to Bangsar for Flute lesson! BUT my cousin sister, Kim and two Aunties from dad's side of the family came when we reached home. Oh no, they came!

Amanda: Why not I just cancel flute class today?
Mum: Yea, I think you should.
Amanda: (HURRAY)

Since it was my cousin sister's off-day which is a rare thing =P I wanted to hang out with her instead. So I DIDN'T GO FOR FLUTE CLASS! instead, we went to Menjalara to have early dinner with the intention of meeting my eldest cousin sister Kim Lian who is very hard to catch hold on. Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment for my auntie cause she didn't turn up after knowing that we were there. (personal family problem, shall not talk about it) Anyway, since we were already there, my parents had the worst Tom Yam Noodles ever xD dad ate the worst cheese cake he has ever eaten LOL lucky for me, I choose tiramisu cake which was 100% coffee cake and cream, well, that's why its called a cake. Haha no complains, never expect too much from cafes like that. The important thing is I have a great time with my cousin sister and my aunties :)

Left around 6plus7, parents decided to go Midvalley to get a set of John Master for my grandfater for CNY. Oh dear, someone has to stop me from further burstin' my budget! haha! I managed to grad a red polo tshirt from Forest, and a new pair of Long&Lean Jeans from GAP :D That's it, no more! I hope~ haha. Reached home around 10:45pm, chat with Arif agn! haha, til 1plus cause he was nagging me to go to bed early (as requested by Betty) Grrh~ anyway I was quite tired too.

Woke up at 11am today o.o Bad Amanda, Bad :( Anyway I've gotta start practicing NOW. Lastly:
