Spin the bottle.

First week of 2008 ended so quickly that I couldn't even catch a proper breath! I was as always busy at the music school for the weekend.

Went for my first French class of the year at Alliance Francaise on Friday morning. *I'd taken one semester of French few years back, unfortunately I stopped for a simple reason - School, too tiring. Oh, and I've learnt Japanese before too ;D Stopped in the end for the same reason. SADLY~ want to learn again though =P Rushed to Bangsar for duet practice with Swathy after lunch. Schedule got messed up so flute lesson was cancelled.

Had to wake up early on Saturday for Flute lesson. Saturdays have became rather borin' ever since I stopped working at the front desk. Could feel the emptiness, cause I have breaks in between classes. Played some pieces from the Groove Lab book during Flute lesson, realised that they were very nice (= I love the flute? Violin lesson was suckiee in the beginning, cause I was like so out of tune. Ish! T.T but overall it was fine after warmin' up. Have to practice more though!

I seriously think that my life is a little messed up now. Like, my sleepin' hours and not practicing as much hours as I should be practicing! Waking up late and watching tv. Omg, I so so so do not want to turn into a couch potato? or is it potato couch? =P

Woke up at 7 plus on Sunday, went to Music Makers at 9am for duet practice. This time, we had to play our piece for others to listen. "Others" here refers to Pam & Jen, Sara & May, who appear to be Swathy & Amanda's competitors in the Roland Piano Festival 2008 Competition. Haha, no no no, we're friends =P Anyway, Pam & Jen is playing Gershwin's Rhaspody in Blue while Sara & May is playing Scarra-sthg-sthg xD I have no idea how to spell. Worked from 10am to 3:30pm. OH, and I got to drive the Honda Civic to Bangsar cause dad wasn't free to fetch me! *YAY* Went home after that of course and there goes my Sunday~

I happily spent my nights chatting away with the ASSES =D and omg, I woke up at 11am today! =( Managed to practice the piano for like one hour before I went to Music Makers for piano class at 1:30pm. Well, I was so honest, I told Pearly that I didn't practice much. Hope that it will never happen again, cause going for music classes unprepared is really sufferin' and I struggle like crazy. =( Had duet practice with Swathy. It went well, there's nothing much we can really do at the point, except to practice more and work on the speed. The heats is on 13th January which is this Sunday!!! Really hope to get into the finals though.
