Gershwin Darlings.

I had the busiest most tiring weekend in this wonderful 20th year of my life (lala, bare in mind that it was only the 2nd weekend of January haha!) Isn't it obvious?

Thursday, January 10

I woke up at 7am! but lazed around til 8am. Practiced piano til 9am, then another 30 minutes on the flute. Was all ready to go out by 10:30am! but, no. Anyway, I went to the Gardens at 11plus to meet a friend who turned up after twelve. Right, I think I'm the nicest human being on earth! Cause Aifang went straight home after waitin' 10 minutes for a guy who asked her out for lunch. Oh wells, we had lunch at Chili's and did some window-shopping at the Gardens. Ohmy, I just love the Gardens more than Mid Valley, less crowded. Had to leave at 2pm for flute lesson at 3pm. Went to Cheras Pantai to visit my uncle who had brain stroke, saw my cousins crying for the first time in my 20 years. Conversation at the Gardens not ended, to be continue...

Friday, January 11

Woke up at 7am again! Had french class from 9:30am to 1pm. Class was okay, enjoy learning the language (= Dad picked me up from Alliance Francaise and rushed to Bangsar for my flute lesson at 2pm. Had to work at the front desk because Aunt Molly couldn't come. So I worked til 8pm. Dad came to pick me up and we went to my uncle's house at Sungai Long. My uncle (dad's brother in law) has passed away... The doctor announced him brain dead at 5:30pm. Spent the whole night there, and reached home after midnight. Spent an hour on msn talkin to...I think Jon? Another late night.

Saturday, January 12

I woke up at 9am cause duet practice was at 9:45am. Decided to go home after violin class, cause I was too tired! Had flute lesson again, then violin lesson. Parents came to pick me up at twelve. Dad took me to Maxis to get my new maxis number. Yesh, I betrayed Digi. Reached home around 2pm. Was textin' Ron & Fido til I fell asleep on the comfy sofa~ haha! Anyway woke up at 6pm, had to go to uncle's house again to help out. We were not allow to laugh or smile but my uncles and grandfather ended up playing mahjong and my aunts were chatting away at one table. Had a good laugh at ourselves when my cousin sister showed us some really old photos of all of us. Left after midnight again! Spent a while on msn talkin' to...Jon again I think! haha! and Arif? Don't remember. lol~

Sunday, January 13

Drop dead tired. Woke up at 9am, which was so demm late! Rushed to Music Makers for final duet practice in front of the parents. Had to wait for Jennifer to finish teaching and get change. While waiting, Pam, Swathy and I had a good tiring laugh with Reena and Eric in the office as they joked away about how we dressed like waitresses. Right. We were all dressed in B&W, and I even looked like the hostess~ how "nice". Reached Roland Asia Pacific located at Dataran Prima at around noon, we were super early (= which was a benefit for us, to be recorded first before the other competitors arrived, so only one pair of duet heard us and we heard all of em. LOL! It was a good experience for me. Spending about 6 weeks on this jazzee yet classical piece; Three Preludes by George Gershwin. Pam&Jen and Swathy&I were the only duets who played Gerhswin. Unfortunately Sara&May didn't play Gershwin :( anyway, Proved that we can learn a piece so quickly if we practice. Okay...haha! Had serious headache after listening to two teachers perform for like 10 minutes. haha! anyway, went back to Bangsar at 4pm. Had lunch/tea/dinner at Marmalade with Albert and Jennifer, followed up with one junior scoop of Green Tea ice-cream from Baskin Robbins. Conclusion: Never gonna eat Baskin Robbins anymore, Haagen Daz is the best!!! Spent the whole night chattin' with Jon, Betty, Hanson, Arif, Izzat, and Fido~ thus, meetin' up with them this Friday!
