For people who realized her/his blog is not linked here, it's because I screwed up the layout settings few days ago, and am too lazy to redo it :P I'm SORRY!

& it felt like it was FRIDAY NIGHT!

It's 1:10am! and no, it's not Saturday now... it's MONDAY... :/ I do not, at all, look forward to Uni-days... I don't think everyone does for studies purposes. 

Been out since 10am this morning (I meant Sunday FYI), had to teach Jennifer's CMP, which turned out to be way better than my own CMP class on Saturday *pfft*, which after that, non-stop violin/piano teaching from 11:30am to 3:30pm, followed by my drum lesson.. (Not complaining at all)

After that, I went to Gardens with Albert & Goldberg, they went to get some stuff, and I had nowhere to go! Ended up in Guitar Store, watched Goldberg play the guitar while testing on this sound system that had "Kirk Hammett's Signature Series" written on it. (Okay, I could sense the dark side) haha! Albert's 'angel' playing totally spoilt the sound system. Hahaha!!

Had annual dinner/thankyou dinner at Pearly's house at night, which was quite a blast for me (well, at least when Shazzie n Jyao came) Jen and I played SPEED after three rounds of Big2 with Sara and the boys, they left early =.= so POTONG~ (Jyao's n Pam's fav word) SPEED is a very nice, tiring, crazy game, and I somehow don't get bored of it~ Pearly joined in to play too!! haha!! THEN, Jen and I (again) decided to check out what our teachers were doing in the backyard. Ended up drinking with them! haha! It was like "here, take a sip, try it!" "oo, nice" "oo this taste like cough mixture" hm... ok~ it was a great chilling spot! candle light, music, tatami @ the backyard of one of the linkhouses at Bangsar Jalan Telawi. haha!! It was cool~

mind u, those two adorables are my flute teacher's daughters at the same time, Myra (the bigger one) is my piano student by far the closest to me, and Arya (the tiny one) is my CMP student who calls me "Teacher Manda" the baby way. :D They are just so loved by me! :)

and today felt like it was friday night, when I look forward to the Saturday which in reality, is actually MONDAY the day which I have a blooodieee Chemistry Lab at 9am...ok, stop complaining and shall go to bed now. Toodlez.

Bangsar.

It's another thursday! and yes, I am roughly one month or so away from Sem 2 Finals. Hm, I'm doing everything but studying. Sigh? Can someone like influence me or motivate me to StuDy? (not going to work anyway, ha-ha) Oh well, I guess I will eventually study...somehow or another. 

Back to my title: Bangsar! (wondering why?)

It's my second "home"! and it just stuck my mind that I should just move to Bangsar and stay there *for heaven's sake* LOL. (wondering why? again.)

Of 7 days a week, I spenT 3 evenings there from Tuesday til Thursday (today). In addition to that, I will be spending the next 3 days there too!!! Amazing isn't it? I spend more time at Bangsar than I do at home, well, of course if you really really count exactly it says otherwise, but still! =P

Give me some reasons (I know there's alot) to NOT want to move to Bangsar! :) I love that place so much! Mainly because...

"Jennifer is there, J-Yao is there, Shazzie is there (although I don't see him as often as Jen), Pam is there, and last but not least, MUSIC MAKERS is there!"

It's September 2008...and I'm going to say the same old thing again: Time flies.

Just got home from Singapore! Dad went there to do some stuff, mum followed, and I was tagged along. So, it's a HAD-TO-GO thing for me. Oh well, I got myself a new pair of heels, a blouse, and and and a Kipling backpack. Did I mention that there was sale in Singapore.

Anyway, before I start burning the midnight (again) to do my chemistry lab report, here's a little something I think it's okay to share here... Read through my blog of 2007 which reminds me of all the little things/happenings I've been through, that I've forgotten~

Okay, time to start doing lab report...

Just do it.

It's the 7th week of semester 2 in Monash for dear me.. time flies, there'll never be enough time for me to finish up my work, or maybe it's just that I have never ending work to be done.. sometimes I really feel that I need to slow down and take a breath, enjoy my university life or something?

Dear Arif is still not convinced that I can do both Medical Bioscience and Music together, like what I'm doing now.. Well, I'm not convinced myself either, so I can understand why he can't.. And here I am back at point 'zero' asking myself again and again, why medical bioscience, why make my life tough trying to have the best of both worlds, this and that and this and that.

Sigh.. I really don't have any choice now, but to continue on, and hope that the 3 years can end faster.. and I'm grateful as long as I don't fail.. I was never a high achiever during my schooling years, I'm just another average student.. But, it's funny, cause I would want to score if I have the chance, but I always end up not studying for finals, hm? It's a habit I guess..

Music, the other part of me, has changed me a lot, and I have to say.. I do not know what will happen to me, if I were to give up on it.. Well, I had never thought of giving up in the first place. In fact, here is where my dream is.. Sigh.. I suck in expressing myself, words can't really describe how I truly feel inside.. I wonder if anyone understands.. 

It gets better every year

It has been quite awhile since I last posted here! Life has been so so so busy, that I nearly forgot that I have a blog o.O Going online these days means chatting with my ''chi mui'' you know who you are ;) about music n craps, chatting with albert about music again, chatting with pam about music too, god! music music music, just makes my world go round =D

p.s. I think I'm beginning to lose focus on my studies...AGAIN...anyway!

In case some of you do not know, it's my birthday today! my 20th birthday. One year ago, I celebrated my birthday at home, with my relatives and my 'a levels family'. This year, was quite different. I received many text messages, more than I expected! from my friends, which is quite nice of them! Although I had problem guessing who sent to me! I lost my phone at Genting, and so contacts gone!

Would love to thank TEY JIE YAO for being the first to call me at exactly 12 mignight just to wish me Happy Birthday! and JENNIFER for thinking hard what to get for my birthday! and ALBERT for his thoughtful 2nd Birthday CD! and SHAZZIE for crawling out at 10:30pm at night to Baskin Robbins! and CHERYL for her lovely butterfly necklace! and ALL MY FRIENDS who wished me today! Appreciate it alot and you guys just rock my world =) and sorry if I didn't mention your names in particular, just so you know you'll always be in my heart. ooo~ Hahaha!

Saturday, 3rd August: Band practice light n easy? haha! When the night came, it was THE NIGHT! Jen, Albert, Sue, Goldberg and I went to KLPac for this concert, which I had noooo idea what was it all about at the beginning, going there like blindly! 30 bucks ticket. Leaving KLPac with a BLAST! The concert was superbly amazing! Ok I have to said this, some guys do look hot FROM FAR. Hahaha, up front? ok nevermind =P The concert entitled "Let's Go Mamak" was really nice enjoyable fun and NOT BORING haha! Too bad its ovaaaaa~ Sorry JY!

Sunday, 4th August: Work work work and more work. Uncle Nick is back from Shanghai with Aunt Hee and my 1.5 years old cousin brother, Xiang Yu, for my Aunt Hee's convo! She's getting her MBA. Gosh, this uncle and aunt of mine are like the brains!! I'm pretty sure Xiang Yu will in fact grow up and become Jr. Brainy! He was so adorable today!!!

Okay, see? short and sweet! and now I HEAR BIRDS CHIRPING OUTSIDE!!! @.@ isn't that cool...

Screw the sick "bugs"

I'm finally feeling sick after a crazily busy yet fun weekend, despite sleeping no more than 5 hours! I think I'm about to surrender and just go to bed. Unfortunately, I CAN'T because I still have my bio lab report to finish! which is due tomorrow...OK, I know it's last minute again...Can't help having fun with my music mates, studies just ain't my main priority if you force me to choose. Damn, how can I say that! Hahaha! Whatever...

I had my worst chemistry lab today, screwing up every single part of the experiment, adding the super concentrated HYDROCHLORIC ACID! to filter some stuff, which ended up melting the cotton wool into the flask. ==" my god! Only after the lab that I realised that I used the 12M super concentrated hydrochloric acid, instead of the not so concentrated 2M hydrochloric acid. @@ swt...THE WORST THING was I BOILED THE 12M CONCENTRATED hydrochloric acid, and it was boiling, and there were "steam" coming out from the test tube, and there Cheryl and I INHALE the gas and nearly choked ourselves to death, since the both of us were as sick! Screw it laaa.... 

Anyway, before I start my biology report, which I just realised it's a blaadee FULL REPORT ==" ...

Congrats to this amazing girl in Astro Star Quest 2008 who won the competition! Apparently, this is the first time ever that I actually liked the ASQ winners. LOL. But her voice is really soothing to the ears.

I know its 2:30am now! and I know I should be sleeping. and I know I have piano class at 9:30am . and I know I have to work from 11:30am to 4pm. and I know I have drum class at 4pm. and I know I haven't finish the discussion and conclusion part of my chemistry report. and I know I still have one bio report, one biotech video assignment, one macroeconomics assignment to finish by say...Tuesday! and I know I have been going out for the past two nights. and I know that I shouldn't have :p but still I went with much consideration. and I know that I really did have lots of fun hanging out with Jyao, Amir, Jen, Shawn, Teacher Pearly and Albert. and I know that the current OTM is like the best of all we are like closer than ever, although Nazrin, Sara, Sarah don't hang out with THAT often, but still. Gosh! and I know I really do enjoy my weekends although it's tiring work! hard-to-handle students! late nights! and I know if I go on like this, one day my hair will all fall out my head and that I will have very obvious panda-eyes. and I know I will get old...

but ONE THING THAT I DIDN'T KNOW was

I finally got to talk to my dear brother! through skype! like one-hour ago. Ok, I have to admit, god I miss him! and I was glad to hear his I-GREW-FAT voice! Nahahahahaaaa....bare in mind we are 13 hours apart~ gees...why is the world ROUND! :p

Time really flies! It's another Friday! Just finished my 2nd week of lectures and 10 weeks more to go. Craps! Seemed like alot! But nooo, all the due dates and exams will flood my...i-dont-know-what :p 

I managed to finish up A BIT of my chemistry report, which is due on Monday, I'm left with the discussion and conclusion. And Bio report...Video assignment 1...Chem tutorial...Econs tutorial...More chemistry report...@@

Yet, I went to the Gardens to watch The Dark Knight at GSC Signature (again!) haha! Oh well, Friday night is like the best time for me to go out, which I shall not make it a habit! cause have to study :p ya right! Anyway, this Batman show was...kinda saddening! but Christian Bale was quite cool :p

I've attend my first chemistry lab of the semester at 9am in the morning, which I didn't really enjoy cause the experiment was boring and messy. Adding onto that, I was freaking tired after the dreadful yet enjoyable working weekend. Sigh, I seriously have no idea how long I can stand up on such a busy life... What stresses me even more is the amazingly unpredictable work load for this semester with the lack of time! How I wished that we have 8 days in a week... YET! I'm here updating my blog, blablablabla, while doing my chemistry report. And what's running in my mind while doing this report is...tomorrow's Biology lab and all the biology quizzes and Biotechnology assignments, Chemistry tutorials, Econs tutorial. OH DAMN! I really need to FOCUS! FO-Qs :p

Anyway, say bye bye to my Sony Vaio C!! cause...

My parents, finally! out of my expectation! omg! bought me a MacBook Pro! :D Cheryl said that I'm so loved.......by my parents of course! Something I longed for quite a while, I finally got it, damn I'm so spoilt :) So, yea, I'm using like right now! Haa, what more can I ask more of them! But of course, the world will end if I say there's nothing more I want to buy! That's really impossible. Anyhow, I shall ask no more for the time being and start saving to buy the extra accessories for my mac :D and hey, they aren't cheap :(

This is so-NOT the right/best time to update my blog, despite the fact that my MasteringBio online quiz is due in like...10 miserable hours! I just finished the first one, but there's still a second one to be completed, and there's a third and a fourth and a fifth and god-knows-how-many-more in the coming weeks. Anyhow, it's good in a way that it keeps us studying OR RATHER READING constantly over the 12 weeks of lectures. @@ Anyway, I'm not here now, to mourn about how tiring and stressful my days are going to be, instead, I want to share some happy happenings :) well, at least I'm happy :p

First week of Semester 2, 2008 :)
Monday - One hour Biotechnology(BTH) lecture from 12-1pm, relaxin' cause it was just intro!

Tuesday - An hour of Chemistry(CHM) lecture 9-10am, followed by a 3hr break, then another hour of BTH lecture. Gah, I have a feeling that BTH is going to be freaking HARD.

Wednesday - HaHaHa! One hour CHM lecture 10-11am, and I was done for the day! :D Went to the Gardens with my parents, where I ended up browsing in MPH and Borders! while my parents went round checking out the latest TV tech.

Thursday - THE MOST DREADFUL FIVE HOURS OF LECTURES with NO BREAKS from 12-5pm!!! which consist of an hour of CHM lecture, two hours of BIO lecture and two hours of Macroeconomics lecture!!! KILL ME!!! I realised that I have chosen this damn-hard-to-score Macroeconomics unit as my elective this semester, most of coursemates chose engineering maths simply because it's easy to score. Sigh~ For your information, the FAIL RATE of Macroecons last semester was 49%!!! Isn't that amazing(-_______________-)" I'm oh so very speechless now.

Friday - NO LECTURES =D but it became my music day, as in, my day being a student in Music Makers. Hah! Many people thinks I'm nuts :) Why? LOOOK below!

3-4pm FLUTE
7-7:45pm VIOLIN

Not that scary actually! Cause there's breaks in between, but basically I spend 3/4 of the day there. Wonder where's my DRUMS lesson? Somewhere, some time whenever my teacher Ip is free. LOL, super flexible :)

Met up with the ASSes after my violin class at Pyramid. Saw Xander the Brain! He's so different, and he has the British slang now!!! I'm like so proud to have him as a friend!!! :D Super hardworking, brilliant, high archiever in Oxford University! Hung out with them for awhile, then Jon sent me home, Thank you Jon~ Slept at 3am reading Biology and doing the quiz...

Today - Saturday - WORKING DAY. Started teaching at 10:15am til 12pm. Had band practice from 12:30pm to 3:30pm! It was super tiring @@ Went to Pelita for a drink with Amir, Shawn, Jen, JYao, Albert and Pearly cause...They had to eat lunch :) I ate Subway sandwich, yummy! After that, I ended up watching movie with Shawn, Amir, Jen and Albert.

Guess what! We went for HELLBOY 2 in GSC Signature The Gardens!!! Premiere class, RM20 per person! Hahahaha! Mainly because the queue was freaking long in Midvalley. Picture how desperate were we to get the tickets, cause it was such a last minute decision to watch movie, and Shawn is leaving tomorrow to go back to his uni in Perak. I have to say, the seats in GSC Signature are so comfortable, I didn't get backaches after two hours, or neck pain sitting right at the FIRST row! The seats were twin seater though, so I sat with Shawn, Jen with Amir and poor Albert alone. Sorry Albert! The show was ok and funny, but the cinema was damn cold. We went for a drink at Starbucks after the movie, and everyone headed home, cause Jen has to go home before her mum 'kills' her. Haha! Anyway, it was nice hanging out with them :)

Last day of HO-LI-DAY.

Time really do fly like nobody's business :p cause here i am on/in/at the LAST NIGHT of my 1-month break from Semester 1 in Monash University. Tomorrow will be my first day back in Monash for my first 2ND SEMESTER in my life! Hahaha!! Anyway, I shall now begin my updates for the past 13 days since 1st july ==!

4th July - 7th July : LION-PORE :)

my impression: I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT!

4th July # Waited for my cousin Kim to finish work before we rushed to 1U to take the First Coach bus down to Singapore. We reached Novena Square around 8pm, met up with Pin Tsin (my uncle's girlfriend) Took the MRT to Orchard road, where the hotel is situated - Orchard Parade Hotel, it was nice alright. After that, we went to Akashi to have Japanese! SABA MACKEREL WAS DELICIOUS!

5th July # We went to McDonald's for breakfast! Malaysia McD's do not have McGriddles :P After breakfast, we begun our shopping spree at Orchard Road! for THE WHOLE DAY. So, I don't have to describe much right? Met up with my uncle and his girlfriend at City Hall, went to Suntec City for...window shopping, had Singapore Fried Hokkien Mee at the Food Republic, walked all the way to Esplanade (one of my favorite spot in S'pore) for Haagen Daz :D Yum yum. Went back to Orchard Road in the evening...

6th July # Kim had to have a meal at Ding Tai Feng, so we went there for branch :) After that, we continued shopping for a while. Went back to the hotel for a rest, CRAZY TIRED, to rejuvenate for the evening, we finally went to Vivo City. I LOVE THAT PLACE!! and and and I finally bought myself a pair of CROCS!!! :DD and there's this shop CANDY EMPIRE, you know what I mean :) Anyway, we had dinner at Food Republic, took the Monorail to Sentosa Island for Song of the Sea, it was nice but anti-climax :P After that, we headed back to Orchard Road, were freaking hungry that we end up eating Mcdonald's and Burger King at 11pm!

7th July # Last day in Singapore T.T had Mcdonald's breakfast again for that burger you can't find in Malaysia :P Lunch at Burger King, I wonder why~ Headed home at 3pm, reached 1u at 8pm. TIRED TIRED TIRED. Packed for Sabah, slept at 1am...

8th July - 11th July: KK, SABAH.

8th July # KK City Tour with Jon's friend Freddick. We stayed at Kinabalu Daya Hotel, 7 people in a family suite with 2 rooms 1 king size 2 singles and ONE BATHROOM. Understand?

9th July # Island Hopping at Pulau Sapi and Pulau Mamutik. Got sunburn on my head T.T Had seafood for dinner with Jon's uncle aunt and cousin. Dad and mum flew to KK in the afternoon and they stayed in Le Meridien.

10th July # Norman drove all of us to Poring Hot Spring. But we didn't go into the hot spring cause of the hot weather. Instead, we picnic-ed at a waterfall. Cooling. Went to Le Meridien Hotel to stay with my parent. I LOVE THAT HOTEL! especially when dad was a Starwood member!

11th July # TIME TO GO HOME :)

Sorry for the short "summary". anyway, I WENT FOR A HAIR CUT AT IKANO POWER :) Photos will be uploaded later!
